"Understanding Bill 30 - Information Sessions"
Government of Alberta’s Act to Protect the Health and Well-being of Working Albertans or Bill 30 as commonly referred to was passed on November 27, 2017. As a result, both the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Workers’ Compensation Act have improved to better protect workers throughout the Province. The new revised Occupational Health and Safety Act came into effect on June 01, 2018 while enhancements to the Workers’ Compensation system have been implemented throughout 2018.
The Alberta Hospitality Safety Association (AHSA) and the Workers’ Compensation Board – Alberta (WCB) will be hosting half day information sessions throughout the Province discussing the impacts that these changes have to employers and workers alike
Please click on the following link for the schedule and how to RSVP to attend the session. These sessions are being offered FREE of charge.
