Course Details

This short e-learning session is designed to introduce participants with the concept of emergency response planning methodology and what the requirements are in developing and maintaining a quality emergency response plan for individual workplaces.

Learning Objectives

The learning objectives for this course are:

  1. Who to involve in emergency response planning.
  2. To identify potential emergencies and assess associated risk.
  3. To provide guidance for developing and implementing an emergency response plan.

This course was developed in conjunction with the Emergency Response Planning Guidebook for the Hospitality Industry. This guidebook was created in partnership between AHLA and the Alberta Government.

This course is a requirement for Level 3 of the Hospitality Safety Leadership Certificate.
